[Dreger] Interesting…no discussion on extension between Ottawa and Debrincat prior to the trade. After next season Debrincat is 1 year away from UFA status. Safe to assume this will impact term and $ on an extension moving forward.

He'll be an rfa, but his qualifying offer would be like 9m so he might as well be ufa with the way the sens (dont) spend money
