TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired D Philippe Myers and F Grant Mismash from Nashville in exchange for D Ryan McDonagh, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

It would happen often if all those players wasnt asking for a no-trade policy on signing.

Myers suited up in 27 games for the Predators last campaign. It's widely believed Tampa Bay will buy the 25-year-old out, providing the Lightning an additional $617,000 in cap space next season, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

I don't know if he even had attitude problems.

I just think guys like Gallagher and Pacioretty are losers lol, jealous of the attention and love PK always got.

Did not think the Preds would be in on him lol, stacked left side now.

Pretty good deal for Tampa even if they're not getting anything back, shed the entire cap hit + cap credit lol

Pretty gutsy move by Tampa. It does alleviate their cap situation a lot but they're also quite a bit weaker on D now and not many assets left to patch the hole.
