yeah, 5mil too hefty for someone who was injured right before TDL,
was leading league in minus,
crappy attitude, poor mentorship of the kids
0 effort on ice, kills a ton of plays
prolly didnt wanna deal with the drama and take a risk on all that shit jaja

im sure he'll get a contract next yr tho, other teams just didnt wanna give up anything for him atm.

MacKinnon (knee) will miss Colorado’s two-game road trip.
The Avalanche announced earlier in the week that MacKinnon would be shutdown for the week and reevaluate his status on Sunday. It doesn’t sound like he has improved as he and Matt Duchene will miss the Avs’ two-game road trip in Nashville and St. Louis.
