If Pronger tried to argue for the lower paid guys like grinders and tough guys who sacrifice their bodies for their short careers and who realistically take home that much, then I might sympathize a bit.

His example has the player with 5k/mo for a place and all the luxuries of life and still taking home 2+mil

6mil /yr taking home 2.8mil is 47%.

I dunno about you, but i would rather take home that much making 6mil a year than getting fucked up the ass makin 120k/yr and gettin hit with like 40%+ after deductions and taxes.

fucking pronger makin me sad here, tryin to give examples like a 30mil contracted NHL player renting/mort a place for like 5k/mo (and it's probably a sick ass house), when in vancouver you mortgage for about 6-8k/mo+ for a decent house outside of Van

bonuses are paid out after the season and effect next season? or hows it work?i forget exactly
cause with all the LTIR flyers had we have cap space so if its added onto this seasons salary we should be fine

and wtf is eos cap space? cause it looks like isles have like 2m bonuses then they got eos cap space and only get 245k o.O
