Brassard to the oilers for a 2023 4th

Keep the picks coming

we got a 3rd for braun too
was hoping to see jones traded but seems that not the case and with all the goalies traded the market was out there
feels like we never give the young goalies a shot and this season is the perfect time too

[Dreger] I don’t believe time of filing is the issue…the problem is that Ottawa didn’t disclose it on the trade call when Dadonov was moved to Vegas

Lol oh dorion

The hilarious part in this is that the info was available for the public on capfriendly etc. Yet NHL, Vegas, and Ottawa didn't do their job  poor Anaheim

Joke league, mistakes happen but it's almost inexcusable when 2 teams miss it, on top of the league approving the trade to make sure it's valid. Anaheim gets rekt in the process. Oh well trades done and I think dadonov just gotta suck it up, California ain't too shabby

well it sounds like its a word of mouth NTC which in a league full of contracts that probably doesnt hold much value
and he mighta had it with one team but whos to say the next team has to follow it if its not on the contract

It's a contract, so it would be written not a word of mouth thing.

the info was on capfriendly, which means dadonov didn't mess up and actually had his list on the contract.

[Frank Seravalli] Dadonov situation, as best I can glean/understand: Dadonov seems to have properly filed 10-team NTC list with Sens before July 1, 2021 due date. Sens traded Dadonov to VGK on July 28, 2021. Was the list, which was still valid, passed along to VGK on trade call?

Sens had an obligation to disclose the list. They fucked up by not noticing their player had a nmc list and failed to give the list over to Vegas.
NHL had an obligation to ensure the trade call was done correctly. They failed to verify all the documents before approving the trade, if the info was on capfriendly its clear that he had a nmc clause in his contract and its the league's job to be like, yo Where's his list?
VGK had an obligation to ensure they verified the completeness of their info. They didn't care enough to check, assumed since Ottawa didn't give a list,eo he didn't have one, so fk ya imma trade him to anywhere I want huehue
Anaheim are just bystanders and victim of this situation
