Calgary Flames forward Johnny Gaudreau says that he would like to play for the Philadelphia Flyers some day.

“It would be sweet to play [in Philadelphia] some day,” Gaudreau told 94 WIP Sports Radio. “You never know in sports, but it’s a lot of support back here in South Jersey and the Philly area.”

“I’ve got a ton of family here, all my friends. All my friends come back here, all my good friends, and kids that I’ve played with my whole life are from South Jersey."

He's signed until 2021-2022

I honestly kinda figured this would be the case, and if the Flames havent won or gone deep in the playoffs for multiple years by then I think it's time to move on anyways. Theres lots of moving parts frankly, if the Flames are a contender for years to come I doubt he still wants to leave.

He is horrendous on the road and can only play well at home anyway. Him saying this shit is also suspect.

And the year before?

Coulda sworn he produces more on home ice by a large margin.

Looks like I'm right. Homer flamer fans.
Literally first link that popped up once I tried searching the previous seasons numbers.

The main knock on Gaudreau is that his game is rather one-dimensional and at this moment, I’m not referring to his below-average goals against and shot attempts against statistics but rather his inability to produce on the road.

So last season he figured it out. That's all.
