$300 for 21 games is a great deal, like 10 bucks a game, I would do that no doubt. Bring that here to Rhode Island, or Massachusetts within 1 hour drive. :(

We very far away from one another :( wish i could help you out haha

$400 for 9 games or something, + have to pay refs each week + have to pay to make an account on their website, and all members are forced to make one. + Travel for gas, and no one in my area like has money so..
I'd like to join with members from my street hockey league, would be fun and funny, even if we go 0-9.

Lol seriously? That's robbery. I pay 65 for 7-8 games of floor hockey and then another 75 for the same thing except 5-on-5 on a bigger rink. Includes tshirts and one league gave me a free entrée at Chipotle  both are part of massive social sports organizations though so I guess they can afford to buy in bulk and their costs are low.

I'd say come on down but our goalie is so good that other teams are trying to get him to play like 6 games per week lol.

Wtf, place in my area needs some competition, too expensive. And I'd play as a forward or dman. :P

Honestly your league is robbing people blind. You should start one up. The cheapest league I've done which I quit cuz i hate street hockey blades and my wooden ones got torn up, but it was 39 bucks a season for 6 to 8 games. Players were refs so you don't have that expense and they just used a parking lot with some netting to keep the game contained.

There might be community centers around you that would rent out their basketball courts. Play two 20 minute periods, they probably have a rec leader who can be ref for a bit extra.

4 teams, 15 people a team, charge em 60 bucks. 3600 bucks to work with and you only need a space for 2 hours a week. Figure you want an 8 week season, figure 400 for supplies, gives you a rental budget of 200 per hour. Plenty to be done with that.

I don't play in that $400/person one.
I actually started up my own league 2 years ago. lol, it's outsides in the summer though so it's hot as fuck, no indoor places we can play. I just charge em $10, I handle the rest, for supplies. Keep track of stats too. Got a website for it too :P

our past goalie was the goalie for the club team at The University of Denver, and was supposed to be the back up to the division 1 team the fallowing year when he broke his back

he was told to stop playing hockey, but after he graduated and moved back, he came out to play with us, he was good, but he dosnt have time for it anymore.

our current roller goalie decided he would play goalie because he cant skate worth a shit.... its frustrating as hell because he sucks bad

we should be winning 80+% of our games but we dont because hes so bad. if we dont put up at least 7-8 we lose, every time.

his back got all fucked up so hes not going to be playing/took the rest of this season off. and we found some kid thats going to play with us thats actually decent and can skate.
