I think he should play out the year with the junior team, go to providence next year.

D-men always need to mature before they're good at actually being defensemen.

I just look at Phaneuf and his career... was a promising talent then they got him in and put him into a big role, he was amazing but after a couple years he was so fucking horrible I couldn't stand watching him.

so who's our goalie? as in where did he came from, etc.

Tuukka Rask is going in no. 1, he's been Thomas' back up for a few years and is amazing, played incredibly well in the 2010 playoffs despite the eventual team collapse.

Anton Khudobin will be backing him, and his stats on the other side of the globe have been quite good.

E/ Rask was also putting up similar sv% and goa as Thomas the last couple years.
