Huh?

What are you referring to? My original post was well before the second round. I foresaw the Vancouver collapse a long time ago, being that I'm a hockey genius. It's ok to be jealous, I would be too.

It sucks, but there is always next year.

I might be a homer in the heat of the moment but I'm also a realist. Took 12 years to get back to the Cup in 94...17 years to get back in 2011. Chances of getting far again next year are VERY slim IMO

I'd love for you to admit that the Canucks exceeded your personal expectation nibbler. I realize that isnt your MO and know it wont happen though. It's cool. :P

Well you have a relatively young time and your GM hasn't made horrible decisions. Last year's team was the best Vancouver team of all time, and it's not going to be much worse next season, just need to improve the mental game which a lot of stanley cup champs have to do, wings in 94, pitt in 07 etc.

I kinda said this earlier. I did expect them to be out after the 3 game collapse vs. Chicago so they were better than I thought they would be. But then again I'm not into guessing outcomes, just events. Events like Vancouver just giving up so many blow out games etc. There is no excuse for Vancouver to be blown out with the talent you have, there is a leadership issue with the team.

Not really, I thought they would be out earlier. Team has so much talent but no heart and that I have seen. You need your best players to lead by example, sedins were not consistent in that role, when they played well Vancouver played well, it's the reason Vancouver was blown out in so many games these playoffs.

I put a lot of blame on the blowout on the shoulds of my hero and saviour, Roberto Luongo.

He had FAR Vtoo many shitty games where he allowed multiple weak assed goals.

Panthers have good people in place to run the ship now though. Kudos for sticking by as a Panthers fan the last decade, especially when you live so far away.

After missing nearly 30 regular-season games with a knee injury, Yzerman led the Red Wings to their 10th Stanley Cup with a team-high 23 points, playing on a knee that required reconstructive surgery in the offseason and knocked him out of the first 66 games of the 2003 season

You need your best players to be your best players all over the ice.

That's why I "LOL", at Canuck fans that think the twins are even decent playoff performers. And that's why real teams like Philly with Mike Richards, Anaheim with Getzlaf, Chicago with Toews and Pittsburgh with Crosby are always challenging for a cup.

Your best players have to set an example.

Truth is if you really knew something about hockey/nhl, you'd be in it, not on some online forum trying to force your opinions.
