It also seems like you need a headshot to kill someone. It's twitch shooting at it's finest. Worse than Call of Duty.

I sprayed the shit out of everything though instead of trying to keep crosshairs in 1 place, lol

Always aim for the head in CS. Short 2-3 bullet bursts otherwise you WILL miss.

Not necessarily spraying. Just keeping crosshairs moving around their upper chest/head rather than trying to hold it still.
