We already have talent for many years to come upfront. Giroux, Riemsdyk, Voracek, Simmonds, Couturier and Schenn. Coburn/Carle will only grow better as Pronger and Timmonen will retire in the next few years, and by that time we will have time to draft and develop other defenseman. Plus the time Bryzgalov ends up his contract we have so many time to develop this Bobrovsky guy who is already ready for nhl competition. My concession is set for the next years to come, yours getting ready, that was my point. No need to argue with me since we're both saying the same thing, but in a different way.

Did you just see the Flyers? Their team is just as young as the Sens minus Jagr, Pronger, and Timmonen. Brayden Schenn is sitting in the minors. Wellwood could be on this team as could Harry Z. Nodl didn't even play tonight.

Coutourier is unproven just like all prospects. Giroux yes will become an NHL elite. Reimsdyk has yet to live up to his potential. Voracek still has yet to do much at the nhl elvel. Schenn will be your future #1 center Coburn and Carle would not be top 4 pairing in Ottawa given who our D prospects are. Brobrovski will not want to be backup until Bryz reties man.

Flyers have a great team and a great group of prospect, but their prospect pool isn't as good and as deep as the Sens. Well, on paper atleast.. Of course, anything can happens and we'll only see in a couple year, but given the choice between the Sens prospect pool or the Flyers prospect pool, I think everyone who knows their things a little bit would take the Sens.. Especially if we include on 1st overall pick this year

I am confused on these prospect pools because I view players in the Ahl as prospects...and I know the Flyers have 5-6 guys that could be on the NHL level. The players on the Flyers right now plus those AHL players are all very young...so really are we talking about kids in Juniors? Because who really cares with the young talent we have now lol...
