would u want grubauer at that term and money? he was really good last season but the guys 29 and just had his best season and wants to get paid
hes been a career back up for the most part and while putting up decent numbers last seasons were insanely good but a lot of that is likely due to the avs being so good

he also got a 10 team NTC with seattle maybe sakic didnt want to commit to that


personally idk if you get the same guy you had last season the avs defense looks much different and with that term money and ntc you best hope you do to commit to it

Good goalie but tough price to pay.

All depends on what Timmins turns out to be. Could be a stud top-4 guy for a long time but the injuries are piling up.

The saved cap over Gru does give them space to acquire help in the secondary scoring department.

They will suck for a bit but they have some good young players and a boatload of top 3 round draft picks between the draft that just passed and the next 3.

I know it's hard to take them seriously but it looks like they'll have a boatload of young quality assets soon.

And all their bad contracts come off the books within 2 seasons.

yeah considering they had no picks the new guy stock piled a good amount of picks to kind of make up for chaykas rookie mistake

Next 2 drafts are gonna be strong too, so if they don't royally fuck up on all their 1st and 2nd Rd picks, they should be good in the future. Then again... It's Arizona so the owner might find a way to fuck shit up
