- Buffalo got out to a very quick 2-0 lead but we dominated for the remainder of the contest. Most players had a strong game but that's not saying much considering we played against an AHL team with an ECHL goalie.

- Lack was average. Didn't like either of the two goals scored against him but he did calm down after that. Didn't have to make many big saves.

- Kassian was our best player for the second game in a row, picking up 4 primary assists. Most probably think of him as a physical power-forward but IMO his best attribute is his passing ability, especially from below the face-off dots.

- Daniel looked decent in his return, at least better than he did before his injury. Kesler made a couple nice plays but wasn't very noticeable overall. Jensen took a few good shots but he too didn't make much of an impact.










Henrik out for two weeks and Burrows won't be on the two-game road-trip. This is what the line-up will be Wednesday in Minnesota:

Game @ Minny:

- Doesn't seem like it when you look at the end result but based on the first half of the game, I thought we were lucky to win. Barely generated anything offensively and weren't very tight in our own end. However, we did play a great third period to seal the deal.

- It was nice to have a big lead so that the ice-time could get spread out in a back-to-back situation: Dalpe and Sestito were the only forwards below 11 minutes and Weber and Stanton (3rd pair) both played almost 17 minutes.

- Lack was very solid. Looked focused and in control like he did two games ago against the Perds. It helped that the Wild choked on a few of their better chances but still can't take anything away from Lack who made a bunch of good saves.

- Booth, Kassian, Richardson and Matthias all played well again. Kesler was much better compared to his return last game. Jensen, Burrows and Daniel, despite his slump-busting goal, weren't very noticeable overall.



Not our best effort but I'm not complaining about the 2 points. Onto Colorado tomorrow on a less than 24-hour turnaround.
