I'm canadian, and respect the spoken language wherever I go

But french is a quality language which deserves to be respected and protected, and not speaking French where It should be spoken to me, is sad.

I want my grand-kids to go to french school and learn english just like I did, and not forced to go to english school cause french is a forgotten language.

Not even gonna bother with you. You're a disgrace to life.

You live in Canada. If you want french to be primary go to France.

French Quebecers aren't Canadians though. Tell them they are Canadian lol and it's like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaat... I'm not Canadian!

Quebec is the province that returns the highest number of people identifying themselves as "Canadian" in the ethnic group section of the census .

yes its bilingual but its in quebec and montreal which is known for being french  is it really surprising somebody doesnt know english?
you can get  on just fine with english but you can just as much if not better with french too why is it surprising she doesnt know english? its not like all they do is speak english and shes out of place with french

Actually Montreal is known for having an abudance of English speakers. I've always thought of Montreal as the "English" city in Quebec and a place where you can speak whatever you want, French or English and have almost everyone be able to respond to you. In Montreal, if you speak only English, you will get by completely fine, you will have literally no issues.

Not sure where this comes from, but I live here and trust me most french quebecers, ask them where are they from and they say Quebec, not Canada. And claim to be Quebecois, not Canadian.

You're 100 % right. Dunno what he's arguing for.

Suburbs around the island of montreal are super french. Really not hard to have a person who doesn't speak a word of English on the island of montreal or anywhere. People do move and stuff.

That's because you're Canadian and they're French.
