Finally thinking of getting 2 dogs. After mine passed away 3yrs ago at age 19.

Yeah definitely determine whether you are going to get them fixed or not, if yes, then it doesnt matter as long as they get a long. If youre not or undecided i would stick to 2 males or 2 females.
