This, Shatty's value is higher, way better? No.

It would be the piece we need to solidify our sloppy defense

shattenkirk is very far from a top pairing d-man

and spezza is a bona fide #1 offensive C, even if he's injury prone

Put Spezza with a decent winger and he will put up points, Michalek dragged him down

Once Hemsky came in he picked it up

Definite 1C
