Ah I don’t remember. I think it’s just about whether someone feels like helping you out. I got lucky last time. Didn’t get lucky with my ‘08 account though, hence this one.

did you buy fg with your account? If yes you might get it back easily

Paging IT Support

Got given a gaming laptop and was told it was running hot after being dropped a short distance. The guy who gave it to me is money bags and replaced it rather than fixing the over heating issue. Ran it on Wednesday night and everything still worked fine but the CPU would be 75-82 degrees while running games. Last night I pulled the back off, loosened the fan screws and then put them back in. Made sure all the components were properly seated. Now the CPU is running 20-30 degrees cooler than previous (50-60 deg)... I assumed I would have to replace the thermal paste on the heat sink, is it possible loose screws were the issue? Nervous that I'm not seeing the same problem I was previous.
