I could understand if he was being ignorant, but it just seems to be immaturity. i think admonishing him for having his views (no matter how immature) would be wrong in this case.
If he was being outright racist, ignorant, inciting violence, etc. i would understand, but it just seems that he has immature views and expressed them in an unfavorable manner. Idk i guess its just how im seeing this whole thing.
Of course none of this excuses him from getting into fights with teammates, abusing officials, arguing with coaching staff, etc.

Yep, his dad using racist slurs all the time doesn't help him either. I think it's pretty fucked that he has no intention to improve as a person though. If Yzerman gave up on him, multiple minor teams put out a huge red flag, and he continues to have problems with coaches and teammates, that's pretty telling what kind of person he wants to be. Sure, losing a hockey game sucks, but you don't provoke your goalie cuz they scored on him due to mis communication, especially when angelo was on the ice for 4 of the 5 goals lol.

Sources did not wish to go on the record with specific examples but indicated that it was an issue that caught the attention and ire of multiple players in the organization. Additionally, sources say tension has been building up in the locker room prior to the incident on Saturday night.
