u guys are better than the current nashville lol.

it will still be tough though, i wish you the best of luck.

id much rather the blues play dallas or phoenix in the first round than vancouver, the road games wouldnt be all that tough.

Yeah, Nashville is a long-shot but they are still ahead of us potentially :P

Not that Vancouver is a powerhouse, but no team would want to play Vancouver because if they made it in, it means they're going in on fire.

If you guys win Pres Trophy you'll get Dallas or Phoenix, ezpk 1st round. Chicago in 2nd round will be interesting :D

Steven Stamkos with another one-timer on the power play. Ryan Callahan is playing well on that line.

I got tired of digging through 30 pages trying to find the Tampa Bay Lightning fan thread if there's one. This will do. LOL

There is one, and it's less than 30 pages back.

By the way, Callahan plays on the 2nd line with Filppula and Palat. Stamkos is on the 1st with Johnson and Killorn.

Callahan is on the 1st PP unit, though.

Game in Tampa:

- Very similar to the Washington game; gave up a bit more than we would like to but also generated our fair share of scoring chances. Unfortunately, the Bolts got a few lucky bounces and we fell a little short. Once again, missed nets on prime opportunities plagued us.

- Lack was decent. He had no chance on the 1st goal and bad luck on the 2nd and 3rd, but the 4th (eventual game winner) was horrendous. It wasn't his fault that we lost but at this point, we can't afford any weak goals whatsoever.

- Powerplay actually looked pretty good and generated another goal. Nice movement and puck-handling all around.

- 1st line carried the team once again, all 3 members played well. Jensen was probably the best forward on either team, he could have scored 3 or 4 goals. Burrows and Henrik have finally turned their respective games around.

- Schroeder had one of his better games of late but his line-mates, Kassian and Booth, were not good at all. Kassian took the penalty that cost us the 1st goal against and Booth got caught on the play that led to the 2nd.

----

Tanev left the game after blocking a Stamkos one-timer with his hand. If he's injured, our 1% chance to make the playoffs officially becomes 0% even if we're not mathematically eliminated.

Quick turnaround after a tough road-trip as the Canucks host the Perds Wednesday despite the back-to-back on Sunday/Monday and having to travel all the way across the continent to get back home. However, we do get a full 3-day break after that.

Helped a little by Dallas losing today but lol, chances still below 1%.

Once Dallas and Phoenix play their games in hand, they'll both be about 8 points ahead of us with 11 games to go. We would have to win all 11 and they would both have to lose at least 4 of their games. :(

They both play enough good teams down the stretch to lose those games but us winning 11 games in a row  Not gonna happen.

Tanev's hand was wrapped and in a splint. He's listed as doubtful for tomorrow, but no real update 'cause they were traveling today.

Tanev out 3-4 weeks with broken finger.

Weber moves back onto D, Richardson is healthy again (remember him? lol).

Guessing:

Burrows - Henrik - Jensen
Higgins - Matthias - Hansen
Booth - Schroeder - Kassian
Sestito - Richardson - Dalpe

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Bieksa
Stanton - Weber

Lack starts again.
