That is what I am hoping for.

When I gamble an SOJ i wanted to be able to get excited about it.

Even Rare items lost a lot of value because bots would just run all day with filters for rare item stats.


When you find key items they should get you a good amount.

Finding important items like shako, spider, oculus, skulder, 4 socket monarch and so forth should get you something seeing at the start that is what everyone wants.

yeah and u can tell cause they have value
but once everybody has a bot geared up there is like 25 found a night and they drop in value so fast because the demand isnt there vs the supply

HOPING they really are active on botting cause i know in other games its an issue and they havnt really solved it

there will be bots 100% every game has bots and cheaters now you literally cant stop it
but i think its going to be contained they wont have like "botbaals-800" going in public lobbies i think it will be kept to private games and hope they get some good anti cheat to detect the priv game bots

there will likely be a way to report them unlike original d2 and they will probably have people taking action on it there is more people in VV then the d2 team lol
and i was reading one of the vicarious visions top people is one of top people at blizzard now so they are probably going to be getting pumped with $$ and have their games high priority

Yeah, Vicarious Visions has been a part of activision since 2005 and transitioned to the Blizzard division at the beginning of this year. Activision will make sure have all the money they need, im just unsure whether or not it will be used responsibly at this point lol

well there was a "leak" that could be fake its from an anon source
they say wow is going into maintenance mode which seems pretty unlikely even with the dip in #s they can still bring it back with actual good content if the new leadership chooses too
says blizzards being dissolved in 2022 and creating a new studio "insight" to replace them and if true its probably like the the remaining blizz employes+vv and whatnot all in one big team
they also said diablo 1 remake is in the works and activision considers diablo their top franchise which also seems kind of odd with wow being milked for so long with ease lol

it could just be somebody's educated guess of what they thinks going to happen or whats actually happening only time will tell ^^

pretty sure it's going to be the same, bots baal runs and mfing

i know wow and d3 are pretty filled with bots but its a totally different team that gets drunk and sexually harasses women instead of doing work so that probably explains a lot too

As optimistic as I'd like to be, there's no money in D2 for Activision after the initial sales so I don't know how serious they're going to be investing in stopping the cheaters.

They might sell some cosmetics and stash space in the future but I doubt that's enough for them to care.

It'll probably be nice for the first few months and then it'll just be the same D2 we know today but with updated graphics.

Yeah i saw that, pretty sure its fake, but it would be jnteresting. Id love a wow 2 using a different engine, as long as the combat and gameplay can remain the same or at least similiar. None of that dark souls combat crap.
