parents had a party last night with a bunch of family and friends

somebody swiped my dad's ipad (i have my suspicious as to who it was)

he isn't very tech savvy so never registered it on apple.com or anything we have no idea what the serial number is or anything like that

any idea what i can do?

You sure it was never set up for Find My Mac or whatever? It probably was, log in and voila.

He needs an apple id to get any apps. He will have my find device, just has to log into icloud
