almost twice as much yet thorntons was the max under the cba
that rule based on salary needs to go for fines his was way worse yet he pays less lol

i thought the nhlpa said something like what happened with backstrom wouldnt be an issue in the nhl...

Backstrom was on advil or something, which I'm sure doesnt go against the NHLPA's regulations..
20 games is a big suspension, he musta been on something that goes against the NHLPA's regulations..

Iirc it was allergy medication but 90% of allergy medications are steroids
