don't worry, Jimbo to the Knights' rescue

Schmidt to Canucks for a 3rd

They still need to shed ~3mil
A tender swap for Fluery makes sense now tho

Unsure what the cost will be.

They have no choice.

Was made public knowledge that he could not be given away for a 2nd rounder.

Now they have to give him away and cant even afford to retain any of his salary.

Its funny because Flower is still a capable goalie but in the cap world he is a massive liability to get off the books now.

Kind of starting to think the importance of cap management is becoming more important than the actual players on the ice.... How the game has changed.

So Lehner is going to have shoulder surgery and apparently this means Fleury is off the table.

McCrimmon says LV is not trading Marc-Andre Fleury. It will be a Fleury/Lehner tandem

To be fair, next season is one of those season where u def need 1a 1b goalies. There's a lot of back to backs, even with potential reduced travel probably a good idea to have 2 tandems going. Damn if Lehner having surgery, I don't think Vegas is in a rush to trade either

which doesnt seem great since they are probably going to have fuck all for depth and need to ride hard mins out of their top 2 lines and have dumpster dived league minimum contracts filling out
the goaltending might not be tired but the players likely will be lol

well they stopped the talking for gallagher new contact, he was supposed to be making arround 6m per year for 6-7 years and after signing toffoli they quickly stopped the extension talks.
Either they wanna see how he will produce with less ice time and on a 2nd line before starting the new contract discussions or they will try to shop him after getting 2 toffoli and anderson.

If they are shopping him, it will suck trading him since i love the player but for the best return its the best guy to shop
