We are getting nothing from our bottom two lines and our defense is shit at times. Mason is up and down. Inconsistent team.

i feel like we let gagner go simply becasue hakstol wouldnt give him a shot outside of a 4th line role
everytime he was on the ice guy created offense but his 4th liner mates couldnt cash or do anything with it...now look at him in cbj

most teams are bottom 6 are nothing special unless you are a contender and right now flyers arent a contender
masons good but he is inconsistent but im not worried weve seen stolarz play good we saw 3 good prospects in WJC lyon in ahl we got goalies coming


personally i feel like a lot of teams are looking for a good back up i say we ship out neuvy at deadline try to buff bottom 6 and call up stolarz
mase played better with stolarz behind him and stolarz played goood enough to be a solid back up

read that konecny will be playing wing on the first line centered by giroux
he played most of JC at right wing

yeah he was RW and i think when he got traded to sarnia they used him as a center

tbh couts was a LW in jr and hes good at center and all but schenn plays so much better in the middle id love to see a couts-schenn-simmer line tested or something
couts can still be good defensively doesnt have to be a center
like were always forcing guys to play somewhere they didnt play sometimes it works out sometimes it doesnt look at vinny
guy said he would rather paly 4th line center then 3rd line wing and he played better but they kept putting him on wing

i think something like voracek-g-konecny couts-schen-simmer could work
if schenn could play lw things would be 100x easier but hes center or a decent rw he sucks at lw
and then we can sto pusing guys like raffl and read in top 6 randomly and use them on 3rd line where they belong


and for defense yeah its been pretty bad delzotto hasnt looked the same since injury schultz is crap
if it wasnt for provorov our defense would look 100x worse right now lol cant wait til these contracts are up and we can bring in guys like myers and morin sanheim etc etc
macdonald has been decent but hes still not worth 5 mill haha

thats because they are trying to force the offensive out of couts meanwhile its ruining his game all around

not to mention cant stay healthy, defense is awful provorov is easily most consistent player saying a lot for a rookie

does he do that this year? no becasue they got schenn standing in hartsys spot trying it and it fails
then they got voracek on the point so if ghost goes deep and pass gets tipped its only voracek back and he sucks defensively why we have most shg against this season
i think we should try a ghost-provorov combo on the pp and let ghost free roam again if ghost gets caught deep at least we got provy in the back to defend


and another thing thats fucking with ghost is delzotto last season delz and ghost were amazing together this season delzotto is shit so ghost doesnt have his partner sorta deal

hakstol has pretty much taken things that work and changed them to things that dont work
and then is like oh its not working hmm scratch konecny put him on 4th line give giroux 3rd liners etc etc hakstol seems good at times then he seems like hes clueless at others

like whats hakstols fix to voracek if hes having a bad game? he puts him on the 4th line with bellmare and vandevelde... like really
