I can imagine lol. Detroit, as shitty as it has been over the years, is really making a nice rebound in some areas. All of the spending being made into the development of areas by Illitch (rip), Gibson and others has been nice. I live an hour and a half to two hours away, but have enjoyed most of my trips to Detroit.

yeah i feel it, Troy is really nice now too, when i lived there it was just on the come-up, but i moved in 2000 to california for my dads work. 7 years ago when i was there is was pretty nice, but now its gotten crazy nice.

but yes the people who love the city have really brought it up, obviously not everywhere will get the same treatment, but thats how it is in all big cities, the popular areas will get the most money, but its definitely a nice place to hangout.

i wouldnt dream of walking around downtown detroit, but when i went to the baseball game i didnt have any problem walking around and going to grab dinner wasnt harassed by any homeless people, mugged or anything... i like it, and i want to move back as soon as i am able to afford it now that i am grown ass man lol.

Griffins won tonight, 3-1 vs San Jose in Western Conference Final. I was at the game, going tomorrow night too for game 2! Should be fun.

Very nice. I didn't even realize they were still playing. I live about 2 hours from there and my sister lives in kzoo. Maybe I'll have to go to a game if they still have home games.

I went to college in kzoo at western. They have the K wings there which are dirt cheap tickets in some fighting league lol

Games 3, 4, & 5 coming up this week will be in GR at the Van.

I live in California so i made the drive to San Jose for the previous two.

They were my first Griffins games. If they make it back to San Jose for games 6 & 7 ill probably go to those as well lol. Cheap tickets can sit on the glass for $70 lol or row 2 for $45. Well worth it seeing as Sharks/Wings games in SJ are $250+ for around row 10 lmao
