For what it's worth, apparently they did try to trade Patches at the draft and were close but the trade fell apart lol.

Surprised Hall got one year only.

Then again, as other have said. If he plays with Eichel and racks up the points he will still get paid big time in the end.

man i find it kind of disturbing rumors dont have flyers as the front runner for pietrangelo or at least pushing hard

Hall is doing the same thing as Barrie - taking a short-term deal to pad stats, then proceed to get paid by the time the pandemic blows over.

If Knights sign Pietrangelo before dumping either Schmidt or Fleury they will have to give up quite a bit to get rid of these contracts. They're treating it like a trade so even if they have to give up multiple 1st's, to secure a #1 RHD it's nothing.

Schmidt would probably be the better option if that is the case.

They could not give Fleury away for a 2nd.

Feel bad for Flower. The ultimate professional but the business does not card.

Hopefully he gets a chance to play elsewhere. I would like to see him make it to 500 wins before he retires.
