Game @ Winnipoo:
- Had a very good first period. Worked hard and skated well which led to scoring chances and power-plays. Unfortunately, the PP was awful and we wasted a solid 20 minute effort. We gave up way too many "Grade A" chances in the final 45 minutes, I think we were lucky to win. However, at least it was a very entertaining game, and you usually can't say that after watching the Canucks. OT was fast and furious, the full 5 minutes were played without a single whistle.
- Lack had a great bounce back game. He didn't have much of a chance on the two goals against and made many huge timely saves, including a penalty shot and all 3 shootout attempts. Looked confident and in control, gotta love his mental fortitude.
- Finally!!!!! Burrows!!!!! The slump-buster and another one for good measure. Easily his best game of the year, and not just 'cause of the stats. Was around the net all night, good on the fore-check, good defensively and on the PK.
- Henrik was okay, not great but not bad. Setup a few chances but the 2nd goal against was his fault. Important thing is that he wasn't invisible offensively like so many other nights this season.
- I'm liking Jensen, a lot. He hasn't really shown much yet but for some reason I get this feeling that there's a lot there potentially. Definitely had his best game so far, looked comfortable. Loved how he had the confidence to try the Foppa move in the shootout (he's scored a few times with it in the AHL).
- I thought Matthias and Booth took a small step backwards but I still think one of them will score or create a goal really soon here. I was very happy Sestito was benched most of the game.

Kesler injured by a knee-on-knee. He already went back to Vancouver so he'll miss the remaining 3 games of the road-trip. Big loss, it's time for Schroeder to step up.
This is how the lines looked to end the game after Kesler went down:
Burrows - Henrik - Jensen
Higgins - Matthias - Hansen
Archibald - Schroeder - Booth
Sestito - _________ - Weber
Assuming Dalpe fills in at 4C now (he was scratched for Weber). Doubt this 4th line plays much unless we have the lead or something.
I would like to see Schroeder and Matthias switched because Matthias and Booth seem to have a little something going together, but I imagine Torts keeps it the way it is so we have a legit checking line.

Next stop: Washington on Friday. Pray that we don't take penalties 'cause our best killer is out and Ovechkin wants moar golez.
