I don't wanna see ranger or phaneuf in a leafs jersey next year

fa9 isn't bad, but no1 will take his contract on...

He's not "bad" but he's not the defense that our team needs. He is too offensive and leaves big holes, he creates chances against us as much as he does for us.

but your right if his contract was better iw ould want to keep him but we are just paying too damn much

he's a #2 being paid like a #1

he just need a real #1 partner and he'll shine

leafs sucked this season so that didnt help

we were also injury plagued hardly ever had a full healthy team

the team is just not much better than bottom 10 anyway

we would have been in the playoffs it weren't for thathorrid last 15 ish games

Bozak injury, bolland out for months.

To me those injuries could have compensated for the poor performance leading up to post season

im not saying we would have deserved it but we almost snuck into a wild card slot. this teams doesn't need to bottom 10 they jsut are

you cant use injuries as excuses the team that knocked u out is the wings n they had key players out for a pretty long period of time
and flyers had a shitty 20 game streak n still made it hell even the rangers struggled a bit out of the gate
leafs only seemed to have a good start becasue so many teams had a bad start

also, leafs arent a very good team, they lack depth, centers and real defensemen. bernier is legit, but isnt proven enough yet

leafs always fall apart at the end of the season, they have no game breakers and lacks the stuff i said above

they need to get reilly going, keep gardiner etc, get a #1 center and they'll make the playoffs

the team is in too bad shape that their rebuild won't make them contenders, but playoffs swhouldnt be impossible as a wild card team until next rebuild
