The Nashville Predators traded forward Nick Bonino, plus the 37th and 70th overall picks, to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Luke Kunin and the 101st overall selection

Lolol. For real though. She's a St.albert native. Friend of my cousins. Met a few times and messed around. Thats all. She was a hockey girl and came from a big family that all play hockey. Ended up with a scholarship to Boston U. And well. She met bonino there obviously. Pretty cool though Ill never forget her now.

He's definitely going this route to choose where he wants to go, up to the leafs if they want him/can afford him at the time.

Not a good enough player for teams to set up their financial system in anticipation of his free agency.

Good player, and CBJ won the trade, but not great.

Not really saying that... But once hes a ufa he has alot of control where he plays. Pretty much do the same thing Duchene did.

That’s not cheap for one year control of a goalie who hasn’t performed on one of the better teams in the league

2 cups hasn’t performed? Ok then. He had a down year but he was injured. We’re going to try to sign him obviously.

Also Pens D are pretty shit and always hurt, hardly a top team anymore they fucking lost to the Habs... carried by Crosby and Malkin and will be bottom feeders soon

Yeah if he plays like he did this past season of course it's a bad trade but he was good for the parts of 4 seasons he played prior.

Decent gamble for a low 2nd I'd say.

Nashville also bought out Turris.

8 x 2M cap penalty instead of the 4 x 6M remaining on his contract.

True, but isn't that the case for pretty much any UFA :P
