I think its as bad. You picked up one of the only goalies worse than Jones last year, who put up lesser numbers on a much more defensively built team. Even at 50%, that's a couple mil for an old, probably bad goalie
Maybe it was done to light a fire Under Martin Jones.
Was just a couple years ago he had a stretch with a high number of games played backed with good numbers.
Maybe he was just benefiting from a stronger team in front of him though.
If his starting job is under great threat maybe he will improve.
