hes good defensively and he was also looking like a 25+ goal scorer and 50-60 pts is pretty average for a 2c i agree hes slightly overpaid but not as much as you act

Definitely, in today’s league guys over 30 with poor foot speed and 7+ mil contracts have a short shelf life.
guys not setting any speed record but idk if you watched any flyers games the guys not slow the flyers play a pretty quick game and he kept up just fine and hes got multiple goals where he out skates d men
comparing him to lucic though? idk lucic was always slow his game was go to the net and get the pass hayes creates offense and gets back on defense even if his play goes downhill id prefer him over lucic easy probably be really solid 3c that puts up 15-20g
i havnt seen neal play much lately but if he was traded for lucic its probably much of the same situation
im not saying the contract is great but comparing it to lucic?
