I think he will be fine for you guys.
He wont have to be as defensively responsible and can just focus on scoring goals. Our team is so bad that he actually had to try and focus on playing a complete game.

I agree. Kid (still 25) has a ton of potential and is super speedy. Hope it works out.

AA is very one dimensional, his play down low in the offensive zone is weak, his play in his own zone is weak. All he’s got his is the rush game,.
We definitely need a winger for 97.
I don’t believe AA is a good fit.
And giving up two potential Rafael Lavoie’s for him seems short sited.

Your Edmonton fans don't realize how much a huge fit AA can be with McDavid on same line. This is a very speedy player that can keep up with McDavid. This could actually work out really well for Edmonton.

The key point is he's going to be on McDavid's line

Also consider that AA never wanted to be in Detroit and had no motivation and unfortunately is that type of mentality. He's going to be very motivated playing with McDavid and playing for something.
