Vegas has unbelievable coverage, they use their speed to always be pressuring the puck defensively and they transition so fast to offence. Very impressive and what a run so far...

Flower is a monster

yup that's the best part, Vegas doesn't play boring hockey, it's just high-pressure that keeps the opponent from having sustained possession.

MAF's .947 isn't exactly sustainable but he did post great stats in the regular season and he passes the eye test so far. a bit lucky in Game 5 but otherwise he's been positionally sound and showing off his crazy reflexes. a farcry from his historical dog-playing-in-the-snow kind of play.

It must be a huge breather for Fleury to play on a team that doesn't have the expectations of Stanley Cup or bust like he did in Pittsburgh. Fleury also gets better defense from Vegas than he did in Pittsburgh with that speedy high pressure defense

Vegas odds to win cup were 500:1 in October.

Who's gonna put the casino out of business?
