Interesting. So there are only two inter - conference (west east) games in April. Which ever conference has it at the end of march is likely to keep it.

/e the west spends twice as long in the east as the east in the west in march. I'd say East might be favored. A number of those games are road trips so east will have multiple chances to take it during that time.

Except west dummied the east last year regardless of home ice advantage/road trips etc

There are some teams with mild statistical advantages, but ultimately this is unpredictable, last year leafs beat some great west teams, and lost to some horrid east ones. 1-1 vs kings, 1-1 vs chi, 2-0 vs ducks, 2-2 vs botston 0-2 vs jets lol what

really it would probably be more relevant to look at what team perform well in the last game or last few games of the year.

but im happy any team can win....... even the leafs

Actually they were evenly matched in the last month and a half. And every team changed, so last year is meaningless.

In fact east beat west twice as many times in that last month and a half.

This whole thing comes down to the last stretch. Looking at the season as a whole is gonna make you lose unless you try and follow the belt with picking who wins. Even that is darts on a board.

It's always been west>east for the last few years lol. Even in the last stretch you'd want a powerful team than buffalo or whatever

That's fine. I'm telling you if you went by that logic last year youd have been at a huge disadvantage, contrary to what you are saying without actually looking at the real results. Your opinion isn't better than reality lol.

/e I'm talking the "stronger team" argument. And frankly there's no way Winnipeg would have been higher than 24th on your choice list just because they're in the west.

The ONLY argument for west is that you're throwing a dart at at board that has 16 west spots and only 14 east.

Ofc not. I went by the standings

Thing switching conferences is all luck. Like in the last month or march, whichever it was, belt might not even have a chance to switch conferences

What I've been saying is that if you think buffalo and boston has equal chances of winning...something's wrong
