I mean if this was bball, mcdavid and Drais can win many cups, but this is hockey. They can't win with a 2 man team, especially when other teams actually give it 110% in playoffs to do what it takes to shut them down compared to regular season. I'm actually baffled to how lack of depth oilers has, when mcdavid took a paycut and Draisaitl contract is also a steal.

So how far does the caps pick potentially fall (pending the other series) to? They were at 26, does it possibly go down a few spots to the low 20's? I cant imagine its able to get below 20.

like, the Canucks have 20M of pure cap deadweight and it still can roll two decent lines plus have a good goalie. with arguably the two best players in the game the Oilers can't even roll a line without a weak link?
