Yeah. I just dont understand how we can totally dominate (pretty much) two of the best teams in the league, then turn around and get completed shutdown by a bubble team....

cause we have talent with TONS of flaws. very inconsistent.
we need to do bad and realize we need to change in order to get better.

oh i believe it, im just sick of arguing over whats better. i hate when people say the streak. fuck the goddamn streak.
its nice and all, but i want cups, not playoff appearances. and if losing will help teach these kids, while in the process of getting elite(ish) talent in the draft will help win cups, then that is the way to go.
even if this is a relatively weak draft, there is still some good talent at the top to be had.

shattenkirk reportedly going to Caps for their 1st round this year, 2nd next year, and Zach Sanford. at that value its probably a sign & extend type of deal.

goddammit. i was hoping we could have swung a trade and landed him.


although a few days ago news broke that a few weeks ago he vetoed a trade to an unnamed team, maybe KH had a deal in place but Shattenkirk didnt want to play here? idk.

And i hope not Sproul, my opinion in how they are managing him is:
Don't play him even though he is an upgrade to some of our current d-men (kronwall) because last time i checked i think he is still ineligible for the expansion draft.
So i think that is the reason he is on the bench, he can only play in 10? more games this year i think. so that is the reason he has been scratched almost every game (in my opinion)
