A branch fell on my car roof on Monday and scratched up the roof. Going to try to buff it out today but it that doesn't work I either have to leave it or pay myself because while insurance does cover it there's some stupid clause that makes my premiums go up (even though it wasn't an accident...) so really it'll cost more long term to claim it. We can't live without insurance but they sure do find ways of making money without really contributing to society...

Insurance allways goes up

My house got robbed once all that was claimable and lost amounted to about $1500 deductible was $500 Wasn't even gonna be worth premium increase.

ANY incident increases insurance no matter who is at fault.

It's completely illogical and I wish someone could challenge it.

I agree, one of the things that pissed me off.

Another thing I dont like (well, two) you buy a brand new car and pay taxes on it. You sell the car, the buyer pays taxes on it again, then sells again, new buyer pays taxes again... can we just pay sales taxes once on the same freaking item? Thank god they don't do this on houses.

Other thing... I work, get paid, get TAXED a big chunk, now with my already taxed money I have to pay TAXES on everything again I buy. screw taxes everywhere on everything. And in quebec.. we are TAXED on the TAXES (Pay tax to Canada, we are taxed on that amount of tax when buying something. gg no re)

I pay something like 3$ extra per month for the "forgiveness program". I never got an accident, and if I ever I do, my fault or not, my insurance price will not go up.
