His final year salary is 7M, which would be his QO.

He can take a 1 year x 7M deal after this 3-year bridge and walk into free-agency.

So although this bridge deal is team friendly, Werenski gets a lot of control in the long-run.

sounds like a balanced deal. good cap hit, columbus has tons of time to negotiate a long term deal and worst comes to worst it's still 4 years of Werenski.
