Gardiner is pretty bad. Doubt he would have waited all off season to sign a team friendly deal, that's the best offer he had imo.

Gardiner is bad but he is better than Ceci

They should’ve just dumped Ceci and signed Gardiner to 1 year at 4.5 instead rofl

[Gulitti] Alex Ovechkin just fell awkwardly during scrimmage. Heard him yell. Had to be helped off ice and to locker room. No weight on left leg.

Well then

Looks like he's fine now, what a beast...?

Werenski signing a 3x5m

His final year salary is 7M, which would be his QO.

He can take a 1 year x 7M deal after this 3-year bridge and walk into free-agency.

So although this bridge deal is team friendly, Werenski gets a lot of control in the long-run.

sounds like a balanced deal. good cap hit, columbus has tons of time to negotiate a long term deal and worst comes to worst it's still 4 years of Werenski.

The New Jersey Devils re-signed restricted free agent Pavel Zacha to a three year, $6.75 million contract after chatter the center might sign to play in the KHL instead.
