Trade Tokarski now. Budaj is a good back-up and Tokarski's value will never be able to rise playing behind Price.

His stock is high now, ship him out.

I'd be shocked if he isn't but I'm not sure he'll accept the offer sheet. He can still choose to stay with habs for less money.

Can't see him doing that after the dispute last season. He'll probably demand every penny he can get, and that could very well be max dollars.

Didn't he maintain throughout the whole process he wanted to stay with the habs? He is gunning for captain and will get it easily judging by his interviews and post game. He'll get paid and probably max term, likely the highest Dman in the league, but I don't see it being with anyone but the habs - at least this time around.

Oh, I'm definitely not saying he's going anywhere, he likely wants to stay. But he can still sign an offer sheet with another team to force the Habs to pay him what he wants if they won't do it willingly. They'll obviously match anything.

e/ I said "anymore" instead of "anywhere" I'm tired

I would be surprised. He seems to have a good relationship with management and he loves the team. Weber doing that was a dick move and it definitely hurt his reputation imo. His agent may advise it but the last 2 years have really been a turning point for Subban. I think he would work it out directly instead of forcing their hand.
