Heritage Classic Game:- First 10 minutes were great but then fell flat after getting the 2-0 lead allowing the Sens to control the game for the next 30 minutes. We came out in the 3rd period with some desperation but weren't able to get the equalizer.
- Lack started out well like the rest of the team but then looked shaky after Ottawa scored their first goal. Our team defense definitely wasn't good enough but Lack's game also took a step back. With our lack of offensive ability, we need both the team defense and goaltending to be excellent and that just wasn't the case today.
- Yet another game in which we needed the Sedins to come through and they were nowhere to be found. Burrows fucked up another few great chances to score his 1st of the season. Kesler was probably our best or at least most noticeable forward once again.
- It was nice to see the power-play get a goal but it didn't exactly look very good overall. Had an opportunity with 6 minutes left in the game to tie but we couldn't even get setup.

Daniel left the game with what looked to be a serious leg injury, he will be reevaluated tomorrow. Sad thing is that I don't know if him missing from the lineup is even a big deal anymore
he's been playing like shit for so long.
Maybe this will open the door for Jensen to get called up; he has found his game down in the AHL recently.
We need to go about 14-4-1 in the remaining 19 games to have a shot at the playoffs.
