I gotta write a 12 page report on a WTO dispute active or past, for my economics of international trade class. I'm thinking the Softwood lumber subsidy disputes Between U.S. And Canada but only because i am vaguely familiar with them. Anyone know of any other interesting WTO or NAFTA Disputes/ cases/ rulings ?

Dx im looking to you buddy. Im happy to do softwood but i feel like alot of the class may default too it.  (needs to be politically consequential, doesnt need to be north american or involve a north american party)

Good list. Don't do softwood because everyone is doing it.

A good active topic right now is the EU and Russia. We hear a lot about sanctions but there's quite a bit of legal framework behind them, with the EU and Russia trading WTO complaints back and forth over sanctions. A paper on the WTO and sanctions is definitely politically consequential. Sounds like it's a Poli. Sci/IR course so that's probably a strong topic. If you can find sources.

Technically a Econ course, I may stay with softwood just because i've already put some thought and work into it but regardless a good list and suggestion! thanks!

3 gig is low. minimum 8 for a movie for good enough quality. 8-30
