I wouldn't say a 70+ point season on a line with AHL players rotating and an injured chunk of games for DeBrusk is slowing down. That's overperforming. Was solid in the playoffs, as always. Of our top 4 offensemen, Krejci was the best of them in the finals though he had no points 5 on 5 like the others.
Krejci is forever underlooked because of Bergeron. Krejci is 100x better than Backes, the only difference is that we'd be giving up a pick or 2 instead of gaining a pick or 2.
Give Krejci Marchand and Pastrnak and I guarantee you he'd have 82+ points. Look how good he made Lucic look
Without Krejci: Coyle goes to 2nd line with only DeBrusk to help, Kuraly goes up to 3rd. We don't have a replacement for Krejci if we trade him. We have many replacements for Backes.
