Really hope we trade Kesler. He's a warrior but overvalued around the league, it would be smart to ship him out for a good return while his stock is still decent.

He is not a 40 goal scorer (consistently), I would be absolutely shocked if he gets close to that again unless he plays on Crosby's wing or something. However, he can still put up 60 points and be elite defensively. Just hope that someone on his line knows how to pass because unlike most centers, he can't distribute for shit.

The trade to Anaheim was reportedly close, so if he does want out, that seems to be the likely destination. Pittsburgh only makes sense to me if they are trading Malkin or if one of Malkin and Kesler is going to switch to wing full-time. I, like Torts, see him as more of a winger but he likes to play center and it's hard to go away from that when he can shutdown opposing elite centers and own the face-off circle.

Chicago would probably rather wait for Teravainen to develop. Would be smarter to sign or trade for someone else as a 1-2 year temporary fill-in.

kesler also has a NTC i doubt he would waive it to go to a shitty team hawks would def be a good target location they get a 2c and there prob cup favs lol

Like I said in the other thread, Handzus has been pretty good for them and was very effective as the 2C in last year's playoffs. However, they did make a mistake not upgrading, expecting a repeat performance from him was not a good idea.

Oh well, they'll definitely fix it next year in one way or another lol
