Apparently it's just to give him a bit more time to shake off the jet-lag but who knows, perhaps a trade could be in the works.

I'm pretty sure he still wants out, but there's not much interest for him around the league.

Kesler and Tanev back in :D pretty much a full lineup

honestly, I think it'd be easier to trade him because if a retool/rebuild is in Gillis' mind, I don't think he'd hesitate to keep him in the west coast.

I think re-tooling would be worse than staying the course lol. If we kept the team together as is, we have a small chance of getting hot in the playoffs.

If we re-tool, we'll be caught in the middle and get stuck with #14-18 1st round picks every year.

If you're going to trade Kesler, trade them all.

I agree with this but I don't want to trade Kesler.
I want to trade Edler, and Burrows.
Keep Sedins and Kesler and fix up some of our bottom guys. I'm stuck in the past

We pretty much have to keep Sedins forever. There is not one team in this league that will pay top dollar for TWO players that are past their prime.

Well, maybe Toronto...

I would keep them if there was a full rebuild. No better candidates to act as role models for the prospects.

Trade Kesler / Burrows / Hamhuis / Edler / Luongo / Bieksa. We'll get a boatload in return lol

Game vs. Minny:

- Pretty boring game. Both teams played tight, not too many great scoring chances either way. We were probably better overall but the Wild had a clean goal waived off, so really we didn't deserve to win. The positive we can take out of it is that our team defense was superb once again but the scoring issues continue to be concerning.

- Lack was very solid once again and great in the shootout stopping 6 of 7. Our shooters went 0/7 -_- That makes it 6/44 on the season (13.6%).

- Kesler was easily the best forward on the ice, nice to see him play well through the off-ice distractions. Higgins and Hansen had a few good shifts, as well. We really needed the Sedin line to come through this game, but the only thing they were good at was failing on the power-play.

- Tanev is back :D He's such a warrior. Torts admitted Tanev has been our best D-man all season. I would say he's been our best player.

Need to go about 14-5-1 in the last 20 games to get into the playoffs  14 wins... I'll be surprised if we can score 14 goals.
