im trying to go wonder how much ill be able to snag tix for

our ahl team this season might actually be good and fun to watch
finally getting some decent forward prospects transitioning in guys like fazleev aube kubel weal should be there now that we wont have to waive him
too bad lindblom went back to sweden he woulda been a nice add the ahl too
we got alex lyon the FA prospect goalie who put up really good #s in ncaa for yale if he does good maybe flyers give stolarz a shot in the nhl or ahl just has a good 1-2 punch

also i was reading something n found it pretty interesting with provorov+carter hart we had chl goalie and defense of the year last season

wjc should be fun too i think konecy myers and hart all have a shot at canada
that german rubsoft kid we drafted prob make russias wjc
sandstrom prob make sweden again hopefully as the #1 and not sick this year


interesting fact about lyons contract and why he maybe went to flyers

Still, the team did have to get a bit creative to sign Lyon, a then-junior at Yale who had at least a dozen teams bidding on his rights. Since he was signing his entry-level deal at 23 years old, the maximum contract length any team could offer him was a two-year deal. The Flyers signed him on April 5, just five days before the end of the NHL regular season, and they offered start the clock on the first year of his contract right away -- meaning the first year of his two-year contract expired five days later.

In some ways, that's appealing to the player, since it puts him a year closer to free agency; Lyon will now be able to negotiate a new contract next summer, as opposed to in the summer of 2018. On the other hand, there's some risk there on the player's end. He's essentially passing up a full year of salary, he's now got just one year to prove that he's for real, and if that one year doesn't go well for him then the Flyers can just drop him next summer. Lyon surely knows this, so if nothing else, you've got to admire his confidence in himself.

i get so excited reading about our prospects haha havnt seen a pool like this in years for philly and even later picks and FA prospects are sounding like they got lots of potential

miele had a good year in the ahl and seems to be getting a decent look

myers and provorov were the scrimmage game pairing
laughton cousins wiese seems like a line that got put together and stayed together all camp but is split up for split squad game-potentially our 3rd line
weal also seems like hes getting a decent shot was centering schenn and stuff he also had a decent ahl season for the kings

lyon and stolarz look to be the starters for tonights split squads too i wanna see what they can do ^^

sounds like provorov just laid somebody out and lyon playing pretty good from what ive heard in the past few mins
shots were 19-7 for the devils but they got cammaleri josefson and shit dressed lol if anything it shows lyons not that bad ^^

e: coatsy and saunders just said their 3 who are stanidng out the most

rofl literally out there half the game glad hes getting a good look and by the sounds of the radio feed he was playing awesome

myers was also at 25 mins and for an undrafted FA pick up this guy seems to have developed quite nicely for a 19 year old
nhl or jrs for him if hes back in jrs hes got a shot at team canada wjc which is always nice

stolarz .943 sv% lyon .966 and sounds like lyon was the only reason flyers were in it
lyon might push for an nhl job at this rate shit devils had a decent amount of nhl roster players vs prospects lol
