Just got home from work and saw that the Habs have offer sheeted Aho. And then I saw the tweet above.

Lol not sure what the Habs thought they were accomplishing here, of course the Canes are going to match. They're also not a division rival so not sure why they care that the contract is taking Aho to his first UFA year..

Doesn’t make much sense... after the big year he just had is when you cash in on a big money deal, not take another 1 year..

especially as second fiddle to crawfish

if hes able to stay reasonably healthy, theres no way he gets enough starts to get a big deal next year
