Ended my engagement this afternoon. Not that we broke up, we just came to the realization it'll be five years this month since we got engaged and neither of us really wants to get married. We'll have a "common law" marriage ceremony for family and friends (to satisfy her parents, we're already common law married) but no wedding and no marriage. We'll still wear rings, but no marriage. Now that marriage is off, she can focus on finishing her MBA, find a job, then maybe actually have a kid with her.
Honestly feel like a weights been lifted off my shoulder. This has been bugging me for years now.
Also solves another problem...
