I think we should wait to trade Gonchar at the trade deadline. If he have a good season he could land us a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Its hard to imagine he can get any worse... he'll have a better year.

so i've been tweeting with a reliable source about Gonchar and Kuba and this is what he told me.

Will be tough to move either of those guys. Kuba could go but I think they would have to take a worse contract back. Tough call.

i bet if either Kuba or Gonchar have anyhting near a decent first half they will be shoppable. teams are always looking for veteran D-men, especially ones who can work the powerplay.
if we can get picks or young players for either of those plugs i'd re-sign Murray to an even bigger extension hahaahha

It's not the good time to trade Kuba or Gonchar anyway, their value couldn't really be lower than it is right now.
