the hockey forum split from the rest of the forums
i believe it was run by ppkpkpk at the time, only a couple of the meds on hockey list actually bet hockey rest of the meds were overlap from football/baseball/basketball
and slowly hockey added its own new actives and trusteds/meds which were always posted in a nomination thread which was always up

every user would post logs from every bet in the thread and list runner would compile the votes and then make an executive decision based on the votes (in case some users had done some shady stuff that not everyone knew about)
1 list runner. no bullshit

and people would also nominate actives to trusted/med in the thread

when i came here at first it was DD and tom but it seemed they were voted by everybody
only started the popularity contest when cratic took over then left it to jbell

hell it used to be hard to get on the list now i see guys here 1/3 the time i was get med status
jbel lwouldnt let d2god get active etc etc

same deal as baloid he let personal vendettas get in the way and he drank often and had lots of them
i mean hell we called getting drunk getting baloided ffs

thers always gonig to be guys like that but no way he shoulda been running the list
and if you called him out on shit like that u got blacklsited in freerolls his pools etc etc n he ran like everything just to do that
thats why ther was so much turmoil created with cratic n jbell they werent really voted to take over they just did and power tripped hard

actives used to be updated every month or 2 and trusteds would be added as people got the nominations for it
it was cratic who decided to never add anybody ever

i have nothing against him but why didnt he just send it all to pens or who ever?

it took me like 2-3 seasons of non stop betting to even get nominated for active
and then i had baloid voting no cuz he was a drunk and i called him out on it more then once

ive seen guys under jbell and cratic after like 2 seasons get med yet d2 god couldnt get an active tag when we al lwanted him too
jbel land cratic took out the community voting and made it all on them and then freak out saying its too much... they did it to themselves
