Mutagens aren't skill points..
You put your skills into those boxes beside the mutagens. If the skill matches the colour of the mutagen it's beside, it gives you bonuses based on colour.

Just hit level 18, went to Skelige.

Hit level 20. Found an orange crossbow. Finished a story line on Skellige. Killed an ice giant. Getting shit done


Also, if anyone is looking for a master craftsman, there's a quest in Novigrad you gotta do to unlock one. Long quest, tough fights. Worth it, sexy ass sword at the end.

started the barons quest yesterday going to finish that up today ... only lvl 5

And shut up, yesterday wasn't nice out until the afternoon at which point I went out. And my plans bailed last night so I played witcher hahaha

not sure i went to her for a quest and decided to see what she had and was like "wtf is that jar thing on the bottom" it was unique colour so i looked and there it was
yesterday i saw a vid about furtheri n the story and based on events id assume there is another place u can buy them but im not sure where
